DISSATISFIED WITH AWARD Considerable dissatisfaction with a new award which gives them a wage less than that of men doing similar work elsewhere in New Zealand was again expressed at a meeting of builders’ labourers last night. The meeting was fully attended, and the matter was discussed at some length. In a statement to the Daily Times last night, the secretary of the Otago Labourers’ Union (Mr R. Mclntyre) said that the discussions had not been completed, and he considered that it would be about a week before any course of action would be decided upon.
