WOOLLEN INDUSTRY
USE OF GERMAN FACILITIES Special Correspondent Jtec. 8 p.m. LONDON, Mar. 17. It is announced that an agreement has been signed under which British woollen manufacturers will be able to utilise German scouring, combing, spinning and weaving facilities,: It is proposed to exchange raw materials and partly-finished products so that in conjunction with the British woollen industry, better use can be made of -thefacilities-still, existing in Germany The Yorkshire Post textile correspondent says it'would be unwise to expect any considerable results from the agreement immediately, but that over a term it should assist m relieving the present shortage of woollen textiles.
