RECTOR APPOINTED
TIMARU BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL Selected from 41 applicants, Mr Mervyn Ansley Bull, M.Sc., 8.C0m., was chosen to-day as rector of the Timaru Boys’ High School in place of Mr A. G. Tait, who will retire this term. Mr Bull is at present second assistant at the Thames High School. He left New Zealand with the Second Echelon, and after being captured in the battle for Crete, was a prisoner of war for four years. He organised educational classes in a number of prison camps.’ Mr Bull was educated at the Christchurch Boys’ High. School and Canterbury University College.
