BOWLING Two challenges for the Fowler Cup were played at Ranfurly recently. The holders, Ranfurly (Gilchrist, Fowler, Hughes, Hanrahan) defeated Waipiata (Hutchison, Roberts,.-O’Neill, Baird sen.) 26—12. In the second challenge thd Ranfurly team was, defeated by Orangapai (Stewart, Butler, Brockie. and Edmonds) 16-T-25. The jnterclub matches set down for January 25 will be played. The county match Vincent, v. Maniototo will be played on February 1, The interclub matches set down for January 11 will be played on February 8. On Monday evening, Ranfurly C de-' feated Ranfurly B by seven points. Details:—Drake 24, Carson 15; Hanrahan 18, Fraser 20.
