NEW POST OFFICE . Advice has been received from the Postmaster-general's office by Mr J. A. Roy, M.P., that . a tender by the Fletcher Construction Company, Limited, for the erection of new post office buildings at Balclutha has been accepted. It is expected that an early commencement will be made with the work. The amount of the tender was not disclosed. ■ CRICKET In an interclub junior cricket match played on Saturday, South Otago High School defeated Clinton B. High School made 168 for four wickets, the top scorers being Reid (41) and Tsukigawa (54 not out). Bowling for Clinton, Ritchie took three wickets for 16 runs. Clinton replied with 74 runs, T. Graham (18) being the only batsman to reach double figures. Aitkenhead took four wickets for 7 runs, Tsukigawa three for 7 and Lambert three for 9. .
