Tapley and Co., Ltd.) arrived at Port Chalmers last night from Makatea. via Lyttelton, with phosphate for discharge. The Fort Dease Lake was built at Vancouver in 1943 by the Burrard Company. Ltd., for the Ministry of War Transport on charter from the Canadian Government. Of £7126 tons gross, =he is registered at London and is 424 J feet in length. 57 feet in beam, and 343 feet in draught.
