CHURCHILL AS AUTHOR
RECORD FEES SECURED (Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 7. Mr Churchill is reported to have virtually finished his book on the events of the last 10 years. He began it in 1936, and it will be. in one volume. The Daily Express soys that publishers on both sides of the Atlantic will pay a record six-figure sum for it. “It contains all the essentials of the story of the struggle of this titanic figurefirst in Opposition with no weapons but words, and then as Prime Minister in Britain’s darkest hour,” the paper adds.
