Dunedin Bakers to Resume
Delivery of Bread Shortly A decision to resume the delivery of bread to householders has been made by Dunedin master bakers. In reply to an inquiry by the Daily Times yesterday, the president of the Dunedin Master Bakers' Association, Mr A. T. Robertson, confirmed that a decision on general lines for the resumption of deliveries in all parts of the city had been made. He added that the date of the resumption would be fixed at a meeting of the executive of the association next Tuesday. Mr Robertson said it was the intention of the Dunedin bakers to give a trial to delivery at the Price Tribunal's rates of Is Id for a 41b loaf, for a 2lb loaf, and for a quarter loaf.
