DOMINION SHEEP

TRIBUTE BY VISITOR (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 2. A tribute to the quality of New. Zea-land-bred sheep was paid by Mr C. H. Gibson, of Buenos Aires, who arrived to-day by Tasman flying boat from Sydney on a short visit to New Zealand. Mr Gibson, who is a principal of Gibson Brothers, one of the oldest stock and station agents in the Argentine, plans to spend from two to three months in the Dominion visiting sheep farms and important breeding centres in both the North and South Islands. Mr Gibson recalled that his father. Sir Herbert Gibson, was the first man to import New Zealand-bred sheep into the Argentine more than 50 years ago.
