LIFE IMPRISONMENT
YOUTHFUL MURDERERS Two young high -school boys in Los Angeles were recently convicted of having ambushed and murdered the parents of one of therrf. The only principal witnesses in the case were the two boys themselves— Billy Anderson, aged 16, and Nathern James, aged 15. Under questioning they told how they lay in wait on the porch of the Anderson ranch home and shot the Andersons as they were preparing for bed. After the killings young Anderson loaded the bodies on one of the family cars, drove away, and disposed of them. They were found later, on his directions. The only motive ascribed for the killing was Billy’s desire to run away from home and his testimony that his father whipped him. He got Nathern to help him, one firing a rifle the other a shotgun. Both boys will receive terms of life imprisonment.
