JUDGMENTS PRAISED
INDICATOR FOR JAPAN (Rec. 9 p.m.) TOKIO, Oct. 2. Commenting on the Nuremberg verdicts, Mr Joseph Keenan, chief prosecutor at the war crimes trial in Japan, said they justified confidence that reasoned and restrained judgment •could result from a tribunal created by victorious Powers. Mr William Logan, American counsel for Marquis Kido,' the former Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal, said the verdicts were very good for the defence because “ so many sentences were light and these is far less reason for heavy sentences here.”
