KILLED IN CROSSING SMASH
(P.A.) PALMERSTON N., Aug. 30 The Auckland-bound express goods train crashed into a laden lorry at Kimbolton road crossing, Feilding, this afternoon, and the lorry driver, Robert Price,.of Aorangi, Feilding, was killed. His companion, M. Haswell, of Feilding. suffered severe shock. The cause of the mishap is unexplained. The lorry was completely wrecked. The deceased was aged 40, married, with four children His wife is visiting Auckland.
