ROYAL STYLE (18) Royal Style (18) was got by PaladinAll Style, by Gay Lad (4)—Arch Lassie, by Marble Arch > (I)—Lassie Doon (18), by Monoform (brother to Multiform). Royal Style is a tail male descendant of Stockwell through Doncaster, Bend ’Or. Cyllene, Polymelus, and Paladin, one of the most successful sire lines in the Stud Book. Polymelus was head of the winning sires’ list in England for five years. Paladin sired Chide, Palantua, Satrap, Rabbi, and several other good winners. All Style is the dam of Look Smart, the dam of Alamode. Royal Style has two strains of Cyllene, who got four .English Derby winners in Cicero, Minoru, Lemberg, and Tagalie. Polymelus got English Derby winners in Pommern, Fiflnella, Humourist and Phalaris, and the grand sire of Pharos, the sire of the sensational Nearco, proving the great vitality of the Une FEE: 25 GUINEAS.
