AUCTIONEER'S NOTE: For many years Mr Cooper had his herd under test, and by using sires with high butter-fat backing on selected cows, has built up a highly-productive herd The Jersey has been used at intervals with marked success. Mr Cooper has been a supplier to Whiterig Factory, and for the last four seasons has had an average of just on 2751 b butter-fat per cow. Every cow nas been bred bv the vendor, and in calf to a Friesian bull bred by Mr W. Y. Dickie. They have been well wintered on swedes and hay, and will come forward in great condition.
