BOWLING CLUB At the annual meeting of the Miller’s Flat Bowling Club. Mr T. Stone presided over a fair attendance of members. The following office-bearers were elected .'—President, Mr J. A. Campbell; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Sheehy and J. Hainsworth; secretary and treasurer. Mr T. K. Stickle: green supervisor, Mr R. J Campbell: selector and handicapper, Mr A. W. Stuart; general committee —the president, vice-presidents, Messrs Stone. Davidson, Armitage, and the secretary: competition committee—the president, secretary, Messrs Stuart and Armitage: auditor. Mr F. Ferguson: tournament committee—the president, secretary, Messrs F. Ferguson, Stone. J. Borland, Mcßae, F. MacDonald. Armitage, and W. Arnott: greenkeeper, Mr W. Arnott; centre delegates, Messrs J A. Campbell and A. VV. Stuart; umpire, Mr F. Ferguson. MEMORIAL SWIMMING BATHS
A general meeting of the Memorial Swimming Baths Committee was held on Friday last, when Mr T. Stockdill presided over a good attendance. Sub-committees were elected for the purpose of selecting the site for the baths, and of fixing the date of the bazaar in December. It was resolved to hold the annual meeting in September and to hold monthly meetings of the committee.
