DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB

MEETING OF COMMITTEE The meeting of the Dunedin Jockey Club Committee, held yesterday afternoon, was attended by Messrs L. C.'Hazlett (chairman), C. N. Draper, A. Clark, K. Clark, J. A. Gow, B.iS. Irwin. A. N. Smith, R. W. Wilson, and Dr E. R. Harty. The dates granted to the club for the new season were notified by, the New Zealand Racing Conference as follows: September 28 and October 5 (spring): December 26 and 28, 1946*<Cup); February 22 and March 1 (autumn); May 31, June 2 and 7, 1947 (iVinter). The application of the Kurow Jockey Club for file daw of December 21, 1946, in lieu of either April 19 or 26, 1947, allotted by the Racing Conference for its annual race meeting, and also the club s application for permission to race on the Oamaru Racecourse, were recommended. .
