COMMUNITY SING
ENGLISH DAY The special atractlon at Friday's community sing will be the appearance of Miss Vincente Major, leading lady in " Firefly,” who has consented to assist the “ English Day ” appeal, " Food for Britain.” Miss Major will be heard in vocal numbers. The sing will be held in the Strand Theatre, commencing at 12.15. A special programme of English songs has been arranged. Mr H. P. Desmoulins will be the leader and Mr Alf. Pet'titt will be at the piano. Mrs Mclntyre, who has charge of the stall, appeals for goods for the stall. Donations can be sent to Mr J. F. Himburg, care Chas. Begg and Co., Ltd.
