Sir,—ln “ Matilda’s ” first letter it was claimed that, by reason of wide experiences and a study of conditions overseas, young returned men were better qualified to enter Parliament as National members. That theory has been exploded, and ’’ Matilda ” now claims that their intelligence and ability are the prime factors Will ‘‘Matilda’’ explain how. young returned men are superior in intelligence to civilians, and how “ Matilda ” gauges their ability.—l am, etc., M.
