PURCHASE APPROVED
LIBERTY SHIPS FOR ITALY WASHINGTON, Aug. 7.
The Maritime Commission has approved Italy’s application to purchase 50 Liberty ships, the minimum price being 544,506 doilars each, with a down payment of 25 per cent., the balance in 20 years, with interest at 3£ per cent.
