BUTCHERS FINED
RATIONING BREACHES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 25. Butchers who had contravened the rationing regulations were fined by Mr W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Thomas Henry Jarvis was fined a total of £6O, Hugh Douglas was fined £5 on one charge and £lO on another. R. C. Macfarlane. Walter Joseph Barrett, and A. E. Preston, Ltd., were each fined £5 and costs, and Angus Duncan was convicted and ordered to pay costs.
