NATIONAL PARTY
A well-attended meeting of the women’s section of the National Party, St. Kilda electorate, was held in the party centre rooms last Wednesday evening, with Mrs J. Campbell in the chair. Delegates from the branches elected to the Executive Committee were Mesdames Scandrett, Parsons, Throp, Clarke, Mayfield, Henderson, Martin, McTaggart. Rayner, Harris Horne, Starr, Deaker, and Howorth. Mr E. W. S. Wilson, organiser for the victory carnival, gave a short talk on suitable ideas for the choosing of " victory princesses ” and for raising funds. Those present agreed to support the project.
