THE AMERICAN PURCHASE ADVICE TO WATERSIDERS LONDON, July 8. Mr Will Lawther, president of the Mine Workers' Union, replying to the cablegram from the secretary of the New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Union asking for advice on the attitude of the British Mine Workers’ Union towards New Zealand sending further butter shipments to the United States, replied: “The butter is going to America under an exchange agreement only as a matter of convenience for shipping. Britain is receiving her full quota. My advice is to help Britain by loading further shipments.”
