PETER DAWSON
The forthcoming visit of “ the world’s most popular baritone,” Peter Dawson, who is making a brief tour of the Dominion prior to returning to London to fulfil a series of contracts there, is attracting considerable interest. Recitals will be given in Dunedin on July 22. 24 and 25. The singer’s repertoire will include a fair sprinkling of those songs of the sea, the open air and songs of life which have endeared him to millions throughout the world. The lover of the classics will also be catered for Clarence Black, a brilliant young Sydney pianist, is accompanying Peter Dawson during his New Zealand tour, and this dual attraction comprises one of the most important concert events for years. The box plan arrangements are advertised.
