GOLDEN WEDDING
MR AND MRS A. ROBERTSON
The fiftieth wedding annniversary of Mr and Mrs A. Robertson was appropriately celebrated by a function arranged by the staff of the North Otago Farmers’ Cooperative Association on Friday evening. The manager, Mr B. B. Walton, spoke of the zeal and ability Mr Robertson had displayed during his 31 years with the firm, and on behalf of the staff presented Mr and Mrs Robertson with a clock. Mr Walton's remarks were endorsed by Messrs H. Rooney, W. E. Moyle, J. Miller, and J. Stevenson. Mr and Mrs Robertson replied. During the evening Miss A. J. Smith presented Mrs Robertson with a bouquet of spring flowers. Supper was served in the board room, which had been specially decorated for the occasion by Mrs Geddes, Miss Wilkins, and a willing band of helpers.
