COMMUNITY SING
Owing to the urgent need of food for Britain, the proceeds of this week’s community sing will again be for this fund. Donations may be sent to Mr J. F Himburg, care of Begg’s, and they will be acknowledged over the air at the sing on Friday. The guest performei will he Mr F. J. Horn, with his guitar, the singing hobo, and his songs will be '* I Left My Heart in the Red River Valley," “Mail Must Go through,” .and ‘‘Shake Hands with a Millionaire.” This will be his first appearance at the sing. Mr H. P. Desmoulins will be the leader, and Mr A, H. Pettitt will be at the piano Th® sing will be held in the Strand Theatre, commencing at 12.15, and flowers, etc., are acceptable for the stall.
