THE DEATH PENALTY
ABOLISHED IN RUMANIA (Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, July 6. The death penalty has been abolished -in Rumania, says Reuter’s Bucharest correspondent. The new law restores the old common law suspended during the war. under which the maximum penalty was life imprisonment.
