Duties include preparation of specifications, and consideration of tenders and quotations for purchase of electrical plant, equipment, and materials for power stations, sub-stations and transmission lines. Applicants should be qualified Electrical Engineers, and preferably have had field experience on hydro-electric schemes, NOTE: Appointee will not be kept on purchasing duties indefinitely, but will be interchanged with Electrical Engineers on other technical duties. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT—£34O-435 (commencing salary according to qualifications and experience) Duties include assisting in work connected with the technical aspects of the purchase of electrical plant, equipment and materials required for power stations, sub-stations, and transmission lines.
