FAULTY PACKING
FOOD PARCELS LEAKING (P.A.) AUCKLAND, June 12. A warning against the faulty packing of foodstuff parcels for Britain was issued this morning by the postal authorities, who emphasised the losses ocourring through the contents leaking in mail bags and damaging other parcels. They instanced syrup leaking from containers, and fat and honey melting and seeping through inadequate coverings. They stressed the necessity for properly sealed tin containers.
