STAYING NEAR DAMASCUS
MUFTI OF JERUSALEM (Rec. 10 p.m.) JERUSALEM, June 12. It is reliably reported that the Mufti is staying in a village near Damascus at the residence of Jamil Mardam Bey, the Syrian Ambassador to Egypt, and a former Syrian Prime Minister. According to the correspondent of The Times in Jerusalem, the Mufti arrived at El Maza aerodrome, near Cairo, by a French plane last Sunday, and. left immediately by an Egyptian aeroplane for Damascus, arriving there three hours later
