OBSTRUCTED BY RUSSIANS
REPATRIATION COMMISSION AREAS IN NORTH-EAST KOREA SEOUL, June 10. The head of the American Reparations Commission, Mr Edwin Pauley, stated that the Russians have prevented the Reparations Commission from inspecting the Changjin and Hungnam areas in North-east Korea. Mr Pauley explained that the satisfaction he had expressed earlier was due to the fact that his commission had been allowed a fairly complete coverage in three of the five areas he desired to inspect. In those areas the only places to which the commission had been denied access were the Chosen oil refinery and portions of the dock area at Wonsan.
