The Course is available to suitable young women, 17 years and over, and provides for a two-year period of training in Domestic Science and elementary Nursing duties (both Medical and Surgical). At the completion of the Course a State Examination is sat, and the successful Candidate is classed as a Registered Nurse Aid. Registered Aids desiring to take their General Training will be allowed one year towards the three years and three months’ training required. Salary payable is as follows: lst-year Aid £BS 2nd-year Aid £95 lst-year Registered Aid £125 2nd-year Registered Aid .. £135 All plus Free Board and Residence, Laundry and Uniforms.
