STATE RENTAL HOUSES
ALLOCATION FOR EXSERVICEMEN FIGURES FOR LAST APRIL (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 11. Under the 50 per cent, allocation scheme, 128 State rental houses and flats were provided for former' menibmers of the forces during April, states the Rehabilitation Board. This brought the total of 5149 homes so far provided since the preference scheme was instituted. , _ The numbers of houses and nth s made available in April, followed by the total to date in parentheses for the various rehabilitation districts, are as follows; —Auckland 29 (1476). Hamilton 6 (390) Napier 4 (230), New Plymouth 4 (146), Wellington 59 (1910), Nelson 1 (102). Christchurch 13 (498). Dunedin 10 (209). Invercargill 2 (108)
