BRITAIN AND AMERICA FACTOR IN WORLD PEACE LONDON, Mar. 27. The continued unity .of the Englishspeaking peoples was all-important for future world peace and prosperity, declared the new chairman of the English-speaking Union, Lord Wakehurst, in a speech at a union reception. Endorsing Mr Churchill’s recent
appeals for the fraternal association of the British and American peoples, he stressed that the association was not directed against other nations. He appealed to members to make every effort to cement the Anglo-American bonds established during the war.
