MIDDLEMARCH SALE
GOOD PRICES FOR EWES Some good quality ewes were included in an entry of about 7500 sheep at yesterday's Middlemarch sale, which was held before a large attendance. The entry comprised annual draft ewes, a good percentage of lambs and a few pens of wethers. Competition was centred on the bst lines of ewes, which sold at sound market rates. Medium and small two-tooths were neglected and at times were difficult to quit. Forward lambs sold well, whilst medium and small brought fair market rates. Wethers met with a good demand.
