VICTORY CELEBRATIONS

THE LONDON PARADE AUSTRALIAN CONTINGENT SYDNEY. Mar. 26. The Australian contingent of 250 to march in the victory parade in London on June 8 will comprise 30 from the R.A.N., 160 from the military forces, and 60 from the R.A.A.F. Nineteen will be women. The Federal Cabinet has decided that June 10 should be a public holiday throughout the Commonwealth. The selection of the Australian contingent for London is going forward. Applicants must be at least sft 7in in the case of men and sft 4in in the case of women, and service records will decide the selection.
