DUNEDIN CHAMPIONSHIPS

QUALIFYING ROUNDS Eighty-seven entries were received for the Dunedin women's golf championships, which were commenced on the St. Clair links yesterday. In addition to full representation from the local clubs, there were entries from Auckland. Masterton. Hamilton. Gore, and Invercargill. Conditions for the two qualifying rounds yesterday were good and there was only a light breeze from the south-west.
