NAVY LEAGUE NOTES

The ward-room was open at the usual time for wool distribution last Wednesday, and will be open again next Wednesday. After that, it will be open on the first and third Wednesdays only in the month. A temporary room for spinning has, fortunately, just been acquired, and it is hoped to open it on the second Friday in March More details will be given next week. It is hoped to send several cases of children’s garments overseas in April. In the meantime, one case is being despatched immediately, containing 38 pairs socks and 38 scarves for men or older boys, 93 garments for children and babies, 1 large woollen quilt, and 5 cot blankets. The need for baby garments, especially, is urgent.
