FAIR AND MILD Forecast Cor Otago—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— . Situation.—There is an anti-cyclone east of the North Island, and another anti-cyclone extending across the Tasman from Tasmania. t Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Mode-rate west or north-west winds. Weather fair to cloudy. Temperatures moderate or mild. Further Outlook.—Fair. Weather in Dunedin.—Conditions were again warm in Dunedin yesterday but the sky was mainly overcast, and a light shower was experienced in the afternoon. There was a light breeze from the northwest. The barometer rose steadily throughout the day, the midnight reading being 30.27 inches (1025 millibars).
