PROFESSORS DISAGREE
NEW ZEALANDER RESIGNS SYDNEY, Feb. 13. Professor James Williams, Dean of the Faculty of Law, has resigned from Sydney University, and will return to New Zealand. A member of the Senate said Professor Williams resigned because of long-standing disagreements with Professor Julius Stone, of the international jurisprudence school in the Law Faculty. The main disagreement concerned methods of revising the law course. They were both appointed in November, 1944, after one of the biggest storms in the university history, when the chancellor" and three other legal members of,the Senate resigned in a protest against the filling of vacant chairs in war time.
