SALARY ADJUSTMENTS
THE PUBLIC SERVICE GOVERNMENT’S DELAY DEPLORED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 13. The demand for an early Government decision on the report of the Consultative Committee affecting the salaries and status of civil servants was made in a resolution carried at a meeting of the Wellington section committee of the Public Service Association last night. The resolution pointed out that the committee was representative of 8000 members in Wellington, who deplored the Government’s delay in endorsing the report of the Consultative Committee.
