AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION
BRANCH FORMED IN DUNEDIN A large gathering of ex-air force personnel met in the University Club rooms on Tuesday evening to discuss the formation of a branch of the Air Force Association. The chair was taken by Mr Allan Hutton, who welcomed to the meeting Mr Norman Stewart, representing the R.S.A., and Mr J.- S. Skinner, of the Otago Aero Club. The chairman outlined the objects of the association and gave a resume of the activities undertaken by the" northern branches which had met with outstanding success. It was pointed out that the association in no way desired to encroach on the work at present being done by the R.S.A.. but was desirous of working in close harmony with that body. A resolution to the effect that an Otago branch be formed was carried unanimously. A provisional committee consisting of Messrs A. G. Hutton. V. D. Gain, A. W. Turner, W. J. Wills, and W. P. Wellington was elected. Those present were informed that general meeting of all ex-air force personnel would be called at an early date to proceed with the association activities.
