BANNED IN AZERBAIJAN
FOREIGN CORRESPONDENTS RUSSIAN STAND MAINTAINED LONDON, Jan. 6. The Russians maintain their refusal to permit foreign correspondents to enter Azerbaijan, says the Associated Press Teheran correspondent. In the meantime Persian intelligence reports an outbreak of “ counter-re-volutionary activity,” resulting in fighting round the towns of Maineh, Maragheh, and Malikkandi. Persian intelligence refers to “ partisans and Nationalists.”
