NGAPARA WELCOME HOME
There was a large attendance at a welcome home social tendered in the Ngapara Hall to Drivers E. Conlan and R. Morrison, Warrant Officer W. McCone, and Able Seaman B. McCone. A welcome on behalf of the district was extended by Mr C. Nimmo, who presented each guest with a leather suitcase. The guests were also welcomed by Mrs Rapsom (Red Cross) and Mr D. Daly (R.S.A.). Opportunity was also taken to present L.A.C. N. E. Docherty with a sum of money collected in Ngapara and Duntroon. Mr D. McCulloch made the presentation, and Mr C. Millen also spoke. Items were contributed by Miss J. Ericson, Mrs Miller being the accompanist. Dance music was supplied by the Misses Rowlands, with extras by Messrs Roberts, J. Bews, and D. Bcws. Mr J. Rowlands was the M.C.
