ACKNOWLEDGED BY SIAMESE THE PEACE AGREEMENT BANGKOK, Jail. 2. Describing the British-Siam peace agreement as satisfactory, the Prime Minister of Siam, Seni Parmot. thanked Britain for her generosity. The publication of the terms was enthusiastically greeted by the Siamese, who, in spite of British denials, believed that the original proposals empowered the British military occupation of any part of Siam that it considered necessary, in addition to press and radio censorship, and the dissolution of the Siamese military forces.
