Jottings Bulldozer has won five races on end, and has proved himself a great bargain is now being mentioned as a possibility for the next Trotting Cup. He was got by Jack Potts— Light Wings, by Peter Chenault— Lightmn, by Siam.
Haughty Since her last win in the early part of last season, the great mare Haughty has had a hard task in being asked to pursue others better placed in form and figures. With a reasonable flexibility in handicapping. Haughty would have a chance to pay her way. but under the automatic system of handicapping the best mare in the world is a costly proposition to her owner. A Gift
In appreciation of the courtesy shown and assistance given to visiting owners and trainers, Mr W, A. Craddock, secretary of the Westport Trotting Club, was presented with a gift by Mr S. Bennett, of Blenheim, at a large gathering of trotting men at Westport last week. Mrs Craddock was also presented with a gut.
