INDIAN GOLD IN FAVOUR (Special) WELLINGTON, Jan. 4. The weather remains fine in Hastings for the concluding day of the Hawke's Bay summer meeting to-morrow. The going is firm. Horses with dual engagements are expected to contest the following events: —Roto Parera (the Final Handicap), Top Shot (No. 1 Trial Handicap), Sir Wina (the Otane Handicap), and Fame Bian (the Russell Memorial). Brackets on the card are: Kincrop and Top Shot in the Flaxmere Handicap, and Gay Divorcee and Signatory in the Nursery Handicap. Betting will be win and place, and the following horses will be well supported:— 12.0: Trial Handicap No. I.—Lady Delight, Top Shot, Broiefort Prince. 12.45: Tomoana High-weight Handicap Roto Parera, if scratched Glad Fox, Magic Art. Matador. 1.30: Flaxmere Handicap.—Gold Lad, Kincrop. Twitch. 2.15: Russell Memorial Handicap—lndian Gold, Jonathan Jo, Catterick Bridge. 3.0: Trial Handicap No. 2.—Landfire. Prefa. Amuri. 3.45: Nursery Handicap.—Signatory bracket. Flying Robin, Shining Ring. 4.30: Otane Handicap.—Gay Lena, Sir Wina, Lord Theio. 5.5: Final Handicap.—Cuba, Nightfoe, Dark Morning.
