NIGHT ROBE IN FAVOUR (Special) INVERCARGILL, Jan. 4. Well-balanced fields are down to race on the second day of the Southland Racing Club’s summer meeting to-morrow. Scratchings are likely to be frequent, however, as several horses hold two engagements during the day. The track will be in firm order, and although several fresh horses are down to appear, the form disclosed at the Wyndham meeting and on the first day will provide the best guide.
