SOUTH CANTERBURY TITLES (P.A.) TIMARU, Jan. 4. M. J. Souter (Canterbury) won the South Canterbury lawn tennis Singles title at the Maori Park courts to-day, beating I. Mathieson (Mid-Canterbury) in the final 6—2, 6—4. Miss. Adam won the women's title, defeating Mrs C. J. Rawlinson (Otago) in the final 6- 6-4, 6-4. The Men’s Doubles went to M. J. Souter and B. Souter who defeated A. D. L, Hunter and S, Watson 6—4, 6 —2. Miss M Adam and Mrs J. Taylor won the Women’s Doubles, beating Mesdames J. Adams and B. Boyd 7—5, 7
