BUTCHERS’ SHOPS
SATURDAY CLOSING AT AUCKLAND (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 4. It was confirmed to-day by the Auckland Master Butchers’ Association that the butchers’ shops will not be opening on Saturday mornings as from tomorrow week, January 12. This decision was reached after meetings with the employees. The new hours for butchers’ shops will be: 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. four days a week, and from 7 or 6.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.
