AMMUNITION EXPLODES DISASTER IN DUMP TWENTY-THREE KILLED ROME, Dec. 29. Twenty-three were killed and 30 were injured when an ammunition dump exploded 12 miles south-west of Undine yesterday. The majority of the victims were workers and nearby inhabitants, and included nine Polish soldiers killed and several others seriously injured. The soldiers were rearranging the dump to make it safer when the explosion occurred.
